What You Need to Get Married.

The general requirements for a marriage license include the following:

You must apply in the town where your ceremony is taking place with a government issued photo ID.
Both individuals must personally appear to the Town Clerk’s office.

Applications & Fees

The fee for a marriage license is $50. The fee for a certified copy of a marriage license is $20.

Additional Application Information

A marriage license is valid for 65 days from the date of application.
Hours of operation depend on the location of the Town Clerk’s office.
